Well, here we go…we got the results from the survey on Friday. There are quite a few unknowns…there was some metals detecked in the oil and we aren’t sure what that means. Chad has been calling some of the diesel mechanics we talked to but it is hard for them to say for sure what is going on. It might be as simple as old oil…or it could be a big issue – we just won’t be able to tell until they start working on it. That is a bit scary but we counter offered today…quite a bit lower than our accepted offer. The owner and her broker are discussing and hopefully we will have an answer from them later today.
Lin and Chad talked for nearly an hour just now. Chad thinks Lin is feeling him out for wiggle room or not. Also educating us on not being so nervous about the unknowns.
